Hi, my name is Ayunda. I’m a twenty-two-year-old Indonesian living in the Netherlands.

In this blog I write about my adventures in life: the books I read, the movies I watched, and the places I go to. My other hobbies include collecting bookmarks, looking at cat pictures, crochet, visiting museums, and trying exciting food.

This blog was created in 2008 when I was only an eleven-year-old who loved writing and wanted to share her passion to the world. Now recently rebranded in 2017, this blog is less about my own fiction writing and more about other people’s fiction writing, among other things.

Regarding my book reviews: I try my best to review all the books I read within one to two weeks in my Goodreads. In this blog I will post a shortened review of the books I read in the month in my monthly wrap-ups. In these posts the review consists of 200-500 words discussing my thoughts on the book, including: how I got it; a small summary of the story; the premise; the title, author and cover; the characters; the writing style; the plot; the ending; and whether I recommend it or not. In the end I add a number rating in the range of 1 to 5 stars. My reviews are personal, subjective, written in English (even though I also read Indonesian books), spoiler-free, and very very honest. I am also a member of NetGalley, and e-ARC books will also be posted in my monthly wrap-ups with an indication that I received it from the website and when the release date will be.

I accept review requests of your books, but I may or may not actually read and review the book.
